A King Becomes Worm Food Herod Agrippa I, called "King of the Jews" by the Romans for three years (AD 41-44), tried to eliminate believers in Jesus about 10 years after Jesus lived on earth.  Herod Agrippa killed the apostle James, the brother of John, one of Jesus' close disciples.  Herod Agrippa also intended to kill the apostle Peter.  Why would God allow this two-bit Roman governor/king to kill an apostle who was an eye-witness to much of what Jesus said and did?  In the end we find out what Herod Agrippa is made of.  Like the great kings of old, and like presidents and prime ministers today that don't give God the glory for what He has done through Jesus - they all end up as worm food.  But the message about Jesus persists because it is of divine origin.  An exposition of Acts 12:17-25, 40 minutes, English and Hebrew.
